Vilcol approach each case individually and request payment through a combination of letter and telephone requests. Our debt collection effort is escalated with every attempt we make to collect your outstanding debts.
Our debt recovery services are a proven way of collecting a bad debt and normally result in the prompt payment of an overdue account. However, should your customer fail to make payment after our involvement, then we may recommend that doorstep recovery or legal action is commenced, as appropriate, through our doorstep agent team or the Courts.
Doorstep action has shown a 17% increase in debt collection on debtor files passed after standard debt recovery letter / telephone work, on average. Debt recovery litigation is recommended on a case by case basis but we would normally recommend that a pre-sue report is provided, to enable you to determine whether the debt can be salvaged after judgement.
Vilcol utilises a highly specialised and flexible debt collection procedure. Vilcol's new MIS software shows more detailed information on screen. Vilcol's collectors can now monitor debtor responses and react at speed - stage by stage.
Accounts can be accessed 24:7 via Vilcol's Remote Audit Facility; 'Vilcol On-Line'. You can send us instructions in any excel or csv format.
Clients receive reports in either excel, CSV or Crystal Reports format.
