However, should your tenant fail to make payment after our involvement, then we may recommend that doorstep recovery or legal action is commenced, as appropriate, through our doorstep agent team or the Courts.
Doorstep action has shown a 17% increase in debt collection on debtor files passed after standard debt recovery letter / telephone work, on average. Debt recovery litigation is recommended on a case by case basis but we would normally recommend that a pre-sue report is provided, to enable you to determine whether the debt can be salvaged after judgement.
